  • GRAID: A new IMU Program for Graduate Research Assistantships in developing countries. The program provides research assistantships to graduate – PhD and Master – students of emerging research groups working in a developing country listed in Priority 1 or 2 of the IMU CDC Definition of Developing Countries. It provides modest support for emerging research groups, making it possible for them to fund their most talented students as graduate research assistants, thereby fostering the growth of a mathematics community, see GRAID

  • African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) offers annual scholarships for a masters degree in Mathematical Sciences. AIMS has several centers. Among them are:

  • Eastern Africa Universities Mathematics Programme (EAUMP)  is a network of Mathematics Departments  within the Eastern Africa region. The member countries include:  Kenya,  Rwanda,  Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. EAUMP supports a few MSc and PhD students  who are already registered for a  Mathematics programme (MSc or PhD)   in the above named member countries.
