I am a mathematician working at  Makerere University as  Senior Lecturer and Head, Department of Mathematics. I have worked at this university since January 2011.

My current research interests lie in Algebra. I work in the area of rings and modules. Majorly, studying notions about nilpotency, primeness, radicals, local cohomology and torsion theories. I also have interest in links between algebra and algebraic geometry, and in representation theory of finite dimensional algebras.  Some of my research papers can be found here:    arxiv,    academia,  research gate and

Besides Mathematics and Administration, I engage in community development. In particular, I work with relevant authorities to uplift the status of education  in Kayunga district at both Primary and Secondary school levels. For instance, we have an ongoing campaign to fund raise for the construction of a girls dormitory at Baale Secondary School. This  would save girls the dangers associated with trekking long distances to school.

Among other things, this website is intended to be a one stop center for opportunities in Mathematics. The opportunities include: bursaries, scholarships,  postdocs, fellowships, research grants, job opportunities, travel grants, conferences, workshops, schools, etc. We would therefore appreciate if you could contact us with information regarding any of the above. Like our slogan goes, every little bit counts! Your valuable alerts on these opportunities will go a long way in taking Mathematics to another level  especially on the African continent.
